The AUTO KIT is AgileX Robotics' autonomous driving development kit, a mountable package of compute, sensors and software that turns an AgileX mobile chassis into a research platform for self-driving algorithms. Its software is built on the open-source Autoware framework running on ROS, with examples for perception, mapping, localization, navigation and obstacle avoidance. The reference configuration pairs an Intel Core i7-9700 industrial PC with a 16-channel RoboSense RS-LiDAR-16, an LCD display module and a USB-to-CAN interface to the chassis. The kit fits AgileX bases such as SCOUT 2.0, SCOUT MINI, BUNKER, HUNTER 2.0 and RANGER MINI; the chassis itself is not included.
