NAVIS is AgileX Robotics' industrial 3D-LiDAR autonomous navigation system for mobile robots working in semi-enclosed and enclosed sites such as industrial parks, commercial buildings and underground car parks. It fuses a 3D LiDAR with an IMU and other sensors for mapping and localization, and adds map management, task management, autonomous navigation, path following and automatic charging. AgileX quotes a static repeat positioning accuracy of about ±5 cm, a maximum navigation speed of 1.5 m/s and maps of roughly 2 million square metres. Safety functions include obstacle stopping and avoidance, blind-spot monitoring and step detection. AgileX offers NAVIS on chassis such as UMR, RANGER MINI 3.0 and BUNKER MINI 2.0.
