RANGER is AgileX Robotics' large four-wheel-drive, four-wheel-steering omnidirectional chassis for outdoor and mixed indoor-outdoor work such as campus delivery, park patrol and agricultural transport. Four 600 W hub servo motors and independent suspension let it spin in place, crab sideways, snake-drive or turn like a car. It weighs 100 kg, carries 150 kg on a clear top deck and reaches 2.6 m/s, with a range of 20 km loaded. Power comes from a hot-swappable 48 V 24 Ah lithium iron phosphate battery that charges in about an hour. The chassis is rated IP55 and offers T-slot rails, CAN bus control and an open-source SDK.
