SCOUT MINI is AgileX Robotics' small four-wheel-drive mobile robot chassis for robotics research, teaching and prototyping. Each wheel is driven by its own 250 W brushless hub motor with independent suspension, and differential steering lets it turn in place; mecanum wheels are an option. It measures 612 x 580 x 245 mm, weighs 23 kg, carries 10 kg and runs on a 24 V 15 Ah lithium battery. AgileX has adapted its PiPER and NERO arms to the chassis, which is controlled over CAN bus with an SDK and ROS 1 and ROS 2 drivers. The SCOUT MINI R&D Kit adds an onboard NVIDIA computer, a 16-beam 3D LiDAR and a depth camera with ROS preinstalled.
