Fairy is Alpha Robotics' mobile digital service robot: a 23.8-inch HD touchscreen held at eye level on a slim swan-neck column above a self-navigating base. It is intended for bank halls, hotels, hospitals, airports, stations, schools, supermarkets, exhibition halls and showrooms. A 5-megapixel camera and a binocular camera support face recognition and personal greetings for enrolled visitors, a microphone array takes spoken questions, and 40 m LiDAR with SLAM lets it lead people to a requested destination while avoiding obstacles. Information inquiries, fee checks and queue calling can be added per site, and an open API allows further development. The 40 kg robot measures 540 × 470 × 1,405 mm and runs up to 10 hours per charge.
