Panda is Alpha Robotics' multi-tray food delivery robot for restaurants, hot-pot houses, bars, karaoke venues, hotel dining rooms and reception areas. The 1,200 mm, 43 kg robot carries about 30 kg on stacked 380 × 380 mm trays, travels at up to 2 m/s with a braking distance of 200 mm or less, and navigates with LiDAR, infrared and ultrasonic sensing to ±50 mm. A 10.1-inch panda-face screen greets guests, introduces dishes and shows promotions between runs. It works 8 hours or more per charge and returns to its charger by itself.
