The 3D Vision Kit is an Elephant Robotics AI education kit that pairs a depth (3D) camera with a sorting workstation, so a robot arm can locate and pick objects in three dimensions without the manual position calibration a 2D camera setup needs. It comes in two editions: one for the desktop myCobot 280, mechArm 270 and myPalletizer 260 arms, and one for the industrial myCobot Pro 630. The desktop edition includes a myCobot Adaptive Gripper, a Vertical Suction Pump V2.0, building blocks, YOLOv8 marker stickers, an acrylic base plate, a camera mast and an arm base. It runs colour, shape and YOLOv8 recognition for unordered picking and unstacking tasks through open-source Python code and Elephant's visualisation software. The component list does not include a robot arm.
