PM01 is EngineAI's lightweight, fully open humanoid for research, education and interactive commercial use, launched in December 2024. It stands 1.4 m tall, weighs about 44 kg and has 24 degrees of freedom, including a waist that rotates more than 300 degrees, with in-house joints delivering up to 164 N·m. It moves at over 2 m/s and became known for performing a forward somersault. Ultra-wide binocular cameras in the head and waist handle perception, and an NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX provides high-level computing. Quick-swap batteries last about 2 hours. EngineAI publishes training and deployment code on GitHub, and the current Education edition adds a chest touchscreen.
