S2 is an original-IP service robot from Shenzhen humanoid maker EngineAI, designed for customer-facing roles such as reception, guidance, public engagement and cultural tourism. It has a distinctive red, cartoon-like design: a rounded head with a single large camera eye and two antenna-like ears, carried on a pair of legs and two long arms. EngineAI first showed the S2 as a concept on 1 July 2024, and its official product page still marks it as coming soon, so technical specifications such as height, weight, degrees of freedom and runtime have not been published.
