Ameca is Engineered Arts' full-size social humanoid robot, first released in 2021 and now in generation 2.6 from 2024. Built for human interaction in museums, events, research and hospitality, it is known for a highly expressive grey silicone face. It stands 1,870 mm tall on a fixed base, weighs 62 kg and has 61 actuated degrees of freedom, 27 of them in the face. Cameras in each eye, ear and chest microphones and a chest speaker support conversation through the Tritium robot OS, which integrates large language models.
