XT16 is Hesai Technology's 16-channel, 360° mid-range mechanical LiDAR from its XT series, used for SLAM, navigation and obstacle detection on service robots, logistics vehicles and robot dogs. It ranges from 0.05 m to 120 m with 0.5 cm (1σ) precision and ±1 cm accuracy, outputs 320,000 points per second in single-return mode, and covers a 360° by 30° field of view with 0.18° horizontal and 2° vertical resolution. The cylindrical sensor measures 76 mm across by 103.2 mm tall and weighs 800 g. Unitree also sells it as an add-on LiDAR kit with a metal protective frame and custom cables for its Go2-W wheeled robot dog.
