TRON 1 is a compact multi-modal biped robot from LimX Dynamics for locomotion, reinforcement-learning and embodied-AI research. Its swappable foot ends let one robot walk on point feet, walk on humanoid-style soles or roll on wheels, and the robot recognises the fitted hardware automatically. It measures up to 392 x 420 x 845 mm, weighs under 20 kg, carries up to 10 kg, climbs 30° slopes and 20 cm obstacles and reaches 3 m/s on wheels. A 46.8 V, 4.5 Ah swappable battery gives up to 2 hours, and an Intel i3 computer runs LimX's motion control. The EDU edition opens the SDK, URDF models and simulation support, and optional arm, sensor and voice kits extend it.
