MOS is Lumos Robotics' wheeled dual-arm mobile manipulation robot for industrial work such as heavy-load transfer, flexible inspection and teleoperated tasks in hazardous areas; the current model is MOS 2. Two 7-DoF arms on a lifting column work from floor level up to 2 m and handle 30 kg rated and 50 kg peak together, while a swerve-drive base moves omnidirectionally at up to 1.5 m/s. The robot is 1,650 mm tall, weighs up to 350 kg, runs at least 8 hours on dual hot-swappable LiFePO4 batteries and uses NVIDIA Orin AGX compute with 3D LiDAR and wrist cameras.
