Bumi is a compact consumer humanoid robot from Beijing-based Noetix Robotics, made for family companionship, maker education and programming learning. It is 98 cm tall, weighs about 17 kg and has 21 degrees of freedom: 6 per leg, 4 per arm and 1 in the waist, with knee joints delivering up to 70 N·m. It walks, dances, stands up by itself, records movements taught by hand, holds voice conversations and is programmed visually through the NOETIX app. A 48 V, 5.1 Ah quick-release battery gives 2 to 3 hours. Standard and Pro editions offer high-level motion control, while the EDU-Air, EDU-Pro and EDU-Max add low-level SDK access, the latter two with an NVIDIA Jetson Orin Nano Super or Orin NX.
