Adam is PNDbotics' full-size bipedal humanoid research platform, built around the company's own quasi-direct-drive, force-controlled PSA actuators and a bionic hip, with learning-based motion control trained through reinforcement and imitation learning. All editions stand 1.67 m tall; weight rises from 60 kg on the Lite to 63 kg on the Pro, and total degrees of freedom from 25 to 43 as more arm joints and dexterous hands are added. The robot walks at up to 1.5 m/s, runs from a 1,172 Wh battery and pairs an Intel NUC main computer with an NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX on the Standard and higher editions. PNDbotics supplies an open SDK, robot models and Isaac Gym training examples for developers.
