XHAND 1 is a five-fingered dexterous robotic hand from Beijing-based RobotEra for humanoid robots, robot arms and manipulation research, sold in left- and right-hand versions. All 12 of its degrees of freedom are actively and directly driven, three each in the thumb and index finger and two in each other finger, so the thumb can oppose every finger. The hand weighs 1,100 g and measures 191 x 94 x 47 mm, about the size of an adult hand. Each fingertip has a 270-degree tactile array with 120 points sensing 3D force and temperature, and in RobotEra's lab tests the whole hand lifted more than 25 kg. It connects over EtherCAT or RS485 and is fitted to RobotEra's L7 and M7 humanoids.
