XHAND 1 Lite is a slim, human-hand-sized dexterous robotic hand from Beijing-based RobotEra, which calls it its agile elf hand, made for humanoid and service robots that need a compact, natural-looking hand. Unlike the fully direct-drive XHAND 1, it uses linkage transmissions with micro force-controlled composite joints, giving 6 active and 5 passive degrees of freedom, two active in the thumb and one in each finger. It weighs 730 g, measures 209 x 84 x 32 mm, grasps objects down to 12 mm across, holds 12 N at each fingertip and is rated for one million no-load grasp cycles. It connects over EtherCAT or RS485 and is fitted to RobotEra's Q5 wheeled humanoid.
