Wave W01 is Sharpa's human-scale, five-finger dexterous hand for physical-AI research and robot integration, with 22 active degrees of freedom driven by 22 proprietary actuation modules. Its fingertips carry Sharpa's Dynamic Tactile Array, a high-resolution tactile sensor that reports pressure, slip, contact location and six-axis force at up to 240 x 240 resolution and 180 frames per second, so grasps can adapt in real time. The hand weighs 1.3 kg, measures 208 x 90 x 50 mm, carries 40 kg with 150 N grip force and connects over gigabit Ethernet at 500 Hz, with ROS 2, MuJoCo and Isaac Sim support. The W01 SE keeps the same mechanics with a 24 kg payload, 90 N grip and lower-resolution tactile sensing.
