Cruzr Y1 is UBTECH's wheeled industrial humanoid for material handling, unveiled on 25 June 2026; despite the name it is unrelated to the earlier Cruzr reception robot. Instead of legs it uses an omnidirectional wheeled base with a vertical lifting column, giving a working reach from floor level to 1.8 m and letting it turn in place in 0.8 m aisles. Two 7-DoF arms reach 750 mm, carry 10 kg together and repeat to plus or minus 0.5 mm, with quick-change grippers for bins, cartons and irregular parts. Perception combines LiDAR, time-of-flight sensors and head and wrist RGBD cameras. UBTECH targets palletising, sorting and machine tending.
