The Unitree Expansion Compute is an optional AI computing module offered for the R1 humanoid robot in 40 TOPS and 100 TOPS versions. Unitree's R1 specification lists a high-power computing module as an accessory, naming NVIDIA Orin-class hardware rated at 40 to 100 TOPS, to supplement the robot's standard 8-core processor. The module is a dock-style unit that slides onto the robot and runs on-board perception, navigation and neural-network inference without a tethered workstation. It is open to secondary development.
