The UART to RS-485 Module is a small TTL-to-RS-485 transceiver board from Unitree Robotics, listed in Unitree's motor documentation as the TTL to 485 module. It connects the UART/USART pins of a microcontroller such as an STM32 to the RS-485 bus of Unitree joint motors, so an embedded controller can drive a GO-M8010-6 or IM6014 motor without a PC in the loop. The 20.7 x 10.5 mm board breaks out RX, TX and the DE and RE direction-control pins on one side and 5 V, GND and the A and B bus lines on the other; the microcontroller switches the half-duplex direction.
