Run is Yunji Technology's first-generation hotel service robot, developed in 2016 to carry goods to guest rooms, guide lost guests to their rooms and display publicity information. In the typical workflow a guest orders by scanning a QR code and paying on a mobile phone, and the robot collects the items, for example from a refrigerator, and brings them to the room, along with everyday requests such as towels and water. By mid-2018 Run had been taken up by four international and five domestic hotel management groups, serving more than 100 hotels and office buildings in China.
